A photographer is often asked about style...Style involves a number of decisions. Important to us at photoeventz is how you want your event recorded. We'll discuss your requirements fully - the aim is to make sure you are happy and satisfied with the result for years to come.
Many events require a mix of styles:
Candid - capturing moments as they happen.
-
Journalistic - telling the story.
Documentary - documenting the event as it happens
-
Formal - Carefully posed, attention to lighting.
-
Discreet - No flash, no poses, just there to get the feeling of the day
For wedding photography, you'll also want to consider the "soft romantic" style - in essence capturing the special moment between a couple on their special day. A soft focus lense, gentle lighting and a sympathetic and experienced photographer will capture a memory that will last forever.
Don't confuse "posed" photographs with "planned" photographs. Posed photos often don't stand the test of time - but a good series of "planned" photos, be they formal or candid in style, will be something that your grandchildren will cherish.
There are, of course, different ways to display each style.
