Who-is Photoeventz

Some people call it my passion, others my obsession - but, whatever, I love creating images.

It hasn't always been my main occupation. I've had a long career in finance with diversions along the way.

For many years I was involved in designing and building theatre sets (big image creation). And Jen and I have done our share of travelling. But photography was always there. So I eventually I decided to build my career in photography - now I'm happy.

I use Canon SLR digital (currently Canon 20D and 30D 8mp SLR digital bodies) and film equipment (Canon EOS5) and a range of quality Canon lenses and Canon speedlights. I process the image files with Photoshop and some Fred Miranda plugins. I use Olmec 600 and Copal DPB400 dye-sub printers and an Epson 2100P 7 colour A3 printer and Epson, Ilford Gallerie and Tetenal photo paper to give you long lasting photo permanence.

I am committed. You'll get plenty of enthusiasm and a fair price for the services you require. My business is driven by a regular client flow through satisfied customer referrals (so everyone is important). I may not be suitable for you - if I think so, I'll tell you. I would rather have you go to someone else than not be able to meet your needs.

I have done two years of the advanced diploma of photography at the Photography Studies College in Melbourne.
